After being in the hair game for almost 10 years, I've always reminded myself to push my own boundaries and inspire myself in many ways. It's not an easy feat to do this everyday. Having worked with the league of legends - Team SASSOON, I've honed my skills as a cutting specialist and to be honest, it's hard to stay inspired when you are already at the top. You may think this is bragging, but hey, you have to earn the bragging rights. You work with legends everyday, and then you become one. As a creative, I always have the urge to be better than what I am yesterday, to accomplish something even greater than the past. I get bored of doing the same thing and inspiration drains with routine. 

Five years back, I would never have imagined myself to enter the barber trade. It's an unexpected twist. People always wonder why I came back to Asia when I am already living in the world of greatness. I came to Asia to inspire and also to get inspired by a different world. You have to understand that to be able to be inspired again, you have to start from the basics to get a different point of view. Everyone has a dream and I happened to chase it in Asia. 

It's been a good ride so far being a barber. It's a blessing to be able to learn another trade, another perspective. A barber stylist is a hybrid in hair business and to me, it's wonderful being a deadly combo. It gave me the knowledge and understanding of both techniques and tools in both trades and I love the flexibility of both combined. The permutations of these two self defined trades gave me a lot of creativity space and to be in a different level.
